Sarah Duve-Schmid combines a passion for cinema with more than 25 years of experience in media law, film funding, and cultural policy. As Managing Director of Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, she oversees film funding and serves as the organization’s spokesperson. Previously, she was the first Deputy CEO and Head of Funding at the Federal Film Board (FFA). She also founded VISION KINO, Germany’s national film education network, and began her public service career at the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM). Her experience includes film production, film classification (FSK), and numerous supervisory and advisory board roles.

Christian J. Vesper is a global film and television executive with more than two decades of experience. Most recently CEO of Global Drama and Film at Fremantle, he oversaw production labels including Wildside, Element Pictures, Miso Films, Fremantle US, and Dancing Ledge, supporting projects like “Bugonia”, “Maria”, “Queer” and “My Brilliant Friend”, and building first-look partnerships with talent such as Emma Stone, Kristen Stewart, and Luca Guadagnino. Earlier, he spent 14 years at SundanceTV and AMC Networks, commissioning Emmy and Golden Globe winning series including “Rectify” and “Top of the Lake”. He holds degrees from University of Michigan Law School and UC Berkeley, and splits his time between London and Los Angeles.

After his studies of Cultural Management in Vienna, Birmingham and Chicago, Gabor Greiner worked as a journalist and film critic. In 2003, he moved to Brussels to take charge of the distribution support department of the MEDIA Program at the European Commission’s Film Fund. In 2009, Gabor became acquisitions executive at the international sales agent, The Match Factory. In August 2010, Gabor moved to Berlin to take over acquisitions of the French-German sales company, Films Boutique, winner of the Golden Bear in 2017 and 2020 and the Golden Lion in 2011 and 2016. Gabor is a member of the European Film Academy.
