SYNOPSIS

Aviv (35), a struggling actor and night-shift paramedic, gets a last-minute chance at a career-changing audition. But as a sleepless night unfolds through chaotic emergency calls, a surprise encounter with his famous brother, and an emotional clash with his ex, Aviv is forced to confront the roles he plays in life—on, and off stage. Racing against time and exhaustion, he must find the strength to show up for the one performance that truly matters.

DIRECTOR'S NOTE

“This Night Will Be White” is a deeply personal film, born from my own experience of juggling endless jobs, chasing dreams while losing grip on the present. It’s a chaotic, at times absurd journey into a long night shift, where ambition meets despair—time warps, emotions spiral, and life feels like a surreal loop. The film reflects my fear of missing what matters most while pursuing goals that may never come true. A kinetic, intimate path toward clarity and acceptance.

Award-winning director and editor with experience in fiction, documentary, and TV. Known for a collaborative approach and a clear creative vision. His short film “Supporting Role" won Best Comedy and Audience Choice at the New York Short Film Festival, and Critics’ Choice in Tel Aviv.

Eviatar Moncaz is an Israeli film producer and head of Monchaz Films, a production company based in Tel Aviv. He produced the feature “Debbie Was Here", which won at Haifa Film Festival 2023, and the documentary “Paradise Shattered", which aired on Yes Docu and opened the South Film Festival. Monchaz Films has produced dozens of short and feature-length projects in fiction and documentary. The company focuses on independent productions and limited budgets, emphasizing clear cinematic language and strong collaboration with emerging filmmakers. Currently, the company is developing, producing, and raising funds for several new fiction and documentary films.
