After Robbie’s father gets suddenly killed in a terror attack in Tel Aviv, the shiv’ah (a week of mourning) exposes his complicated relationship with his mother and raises difficult questions about politics and gay identity. This comedy-drama explores life in Israel after the Gaza war, and reveals the deep links between personal and collective trauma.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Iftach Illouz is a filmmaker and creative & content director. His short film Me After Dark was Awarded Best Student Film in The 39th International Haifa Film Festival and was screened in the CCA: Tel-Aviv Yafo. His graduation film from Minshar for Art, The Life and Death of Anna Lysis was officially selected to the 40th Filmschoolfest - Munich International Festival of Film Schools. Illouz is a Grant recipient from the New Fund for Cinema and Television and The Rabinovich Foundation – Israel Cinema Project. Currently Works as the VP of content in Radical Idea House and studies in the M.F.A of Bezalel academy.
