Mazal, 11¾, is planning the Bat Mitzvah (12th Birthday) of her dreams to finally reinvent herself. There’s just one problem: her parents are getting divorced, rockets are falling, and a war is raging outside - what could possibly go wrong?

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Helli Hardy is a scriptwriter, director & producer. Her short films Make Yourself at Home (Busan FF, 2013), The Babysitter (Won Best Student Film, Montreal FF, 2017), and Just Ask Dad (Won Best short fiction film at Golden Bull FF, Turkey, 2012) were screened at festivals worldwide. She graduated with honors from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television, Tel-Aviv University.
