Elinor and Sharona are best friends with a tight, symbiotic bond, despite different backgrounds. Right before high-school graduation, Elinor's family plans to move abroad. The two will do anything to stay together, embarking on a runaway journey that forces them and their mothers to confront their true selves.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Noa Gusakov is an award-winning filmmaker and a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film School. Her shorts Large Soldier and How to Swim were nominated for the Israeli Academy Awards. She is also a television creator, having won an Israeli Academy Award for Best Direction and two awards for Best Screenplay for a Teen Drama Series.
She wrote and directed six short films that have collectively screened at over 100 international festivals and garnered numerous awards. Her graduation film, Lookout, was selected as one of the 30 Best Films of Sam Spiegel and screened at the Berlinale.

Leah Tonic has produced dozens of short films, including Anna (Or Sinai, Cannes winner), 212 (Boaz Frankel, San Sebastián), and Birthright (Inbar Horesh, Palm Springs). This film marks her fourth collaboration with Noa Gusakov, after producing three of Gusakov’s shorts—among them Large Soldier and How to Swim, both Israeli Academy Award nominees that screened and won prizes at numerous international festivals. Formerly a senior executive at the Israeli Academy of Film and Television, she also founded “Culture of Solidarity,” a social-cultural initiative.
