Zsóka, mother of two, befriends two village boys during a summer holiday, who are being maltreated by their mother. Zsóka is confronted with the responsibility that comes with this acquaintance — should she intervene and is she even allowed to?

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER

Marcell Gerő co-founded Campfilm in 2007. His feature-length documentary Cain’s Children (developed in the framework of EURODOC, presented at IDFA Round Table Pitch and Docu Talents from the East) premiered at the 62nd San Sebastian Film Festival’s New Directors Competition followed by a successful festival journey (IDFA Best of Fests, Zurich IFF, Abu Dhabi IFF, Sarajevo IFF etc). With his directed or produced projects, he participated in workshops such as EAVE, Torino Feature Lab, EP2C Workshop or Nipkow Program and he is a Sundance Institute Documentary Film Program Grantee.

She is a Eurodoc, Nipkow Programme, EAVE, DokIncubator, Producers on the Move, ACE Producers alumni.
