Hold Onto Me, directed by Myrsini Aristidou and developed in the 9th edition of the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab, has been selected to represent Cyprus in the race for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards. This marks the country’s first-ever submission to the category.
The selection follows the film’s World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival.
Congratulations to Myrsini and the entire team. We’re proud to have supported the film’s development and to see its continued international success.
